This season, Apollo Motorsport will enter their 9th year in Fun Cup, with their youngest & potentially strongest ever driver line-up. Talented siblings, Zoe & Guy Wenham, will be joined by 16 year old ex-karter & Ginetta driver, Harry Mailer, who made a hugely impressive Fun Cup debut last year at the Oulton Park finale.

Zoe & Guy have always been front runners in Fun Cup, finishing 2nd in the 2014 championship & 4th last year. Their portfolio of experience includes British GT4 race wins for Zoe & a Saxmax championship title for Guy, in 2013.

Mailer won his first title in 2010, when he was crowned Camberley Kart Club novice Champion. He then went on to add the 2011 Camberley Comer Cadet Championship to his name & finally claimed the Forest Edge Comer Cadet title in 2012.

Team Manager, Peter Flynn, said: “Apollo Motorsport is genuinely excited about such a potent line-up & we are hoping to maximise our potential with a strong championship challenge.”

Fun Cup Championship Director, Paul Rose, said: “The combination of these 3 drivers is a real force to be reckoned with. Harry ran as high as 3rd during his Fun Cup debut last year; he certainly did not go unnoticed! 2016 could be a really great year for Apollo Motorsport! I am looking forward to seeing their progress unfold.”

The team has also added car 200 to their fleet, which will also compete in the full season.

The 2016 Fun Cup championship will consist of 7 UK races at 6 venues, plus the world famous Spa 25 hour non-championship round. The total amount of UK race time for 2016, is an unrivalled 28 hours. On top of this, exclusive testing & qualifying are included in the timetable. So, with super competitive, full grids & staggering amounts of track time for the cost, plus the friendliest paddock, Fun Cup always proves popular.

Each event is also filmed for Sky Sports Racemax programme & Motors TV, with several repeats.
