Happy Racing - No. 252
2012 is the team's fourth year in the Fun Cup.
Their driver line-up consists of Jason Porter, Max Hunter and Endaf Owens.
Jason Porter started in Motocross and then moved to Mini 7 Racing Club in 1992, where he raced on and mostly off until 2005. He then had a brief spell racing in Clio's. After this, he became a team owner in the BTCC, but then decided to go back to some grass roots racing. He ran a Class 9 Autograss in 2007 and a Zapcat, which was on water!
Max Hunter and Endaf Owens have raced Minis, Autograss, Motocross and Clios.
In 2011, Porter was partnered by Max Hunter and ex-BTCC racer James Pickford, for the Spa 25 hour race. The event was one of Happy's greatest races of the year. After Pickford qualified on overall pole, over half a second faster than the 2nd placed team, they ran at the front of the 140 car grid for the duration of the race, eventually finishing 2nd for the UK TDI class.
