Jolly Roger White - No. 257

257 was acquired new by Jolly Roger Racing in time for the start of the 2010 season, the team’s first full season in motorsport. That season was a learning process for drivers and mechanics: particularly when the nearly pristine car was put into the wall on the exit of Pif Paf with five minutes to go at the end of qualifying, the evening before the Spa 25 hour race. A massive overnight rebuild was required. The team’s only success of 2010 was in recording only one DNF and in finishing as runner-up for the “Best Looking Car 2010” award.

All was to change in 2011, with Jolly Roger White just squeaking home to win the inaugural UK petrol championship. They were also pleased to win, “Most Improved Team 2011” for their performances in 257 and “evil twin” 111.

The drivers names are put into a hat for each round and the draw determines the allocation between the two team cars.

They have upgraded to a petrol sequential, to contest the 2012 championship.
