JPR/G&T1 - No. 99

This is a Championship winning car and has won more races than any other petrol car.

The 2012 driver trio will be Lawrence Howlett, Damian Hudes and Rory Brown.

There can’t be many racing drivers in the world who can boast beating the likes of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton on several occasions, however the Norfolk bred driver Lawrence Howlett has that distinction, having been an outstanding karter in his formative years. Moving into Fun Cup after a ten year break in 2011, he set the fastest lap at his first fun cup race and has proved throughout the season that he is a serious competitor with the talent to back it up.

Hudes, having cut his teeth in karting, moved up to the Fun Cup championship in 2011. Despite a steep learning curve getting to grips with the car and an unfortunate run of luck mid-season, he helped guide JPR car 99 to 2nd place in the final race of the year at Oulton Park. This year, lining up alongside Howlett and Brown, he hopes podiums come thick and fast.

A serious assault on the petrol championship is a realistic target for the trio.
